Overview
Cozytrip is a full-stack travel product that helps people plan and book stays with a calm, modern experience. The web app pairs a Vite and React front end with a NestJS API on AWS, Stripe-powered checkout, and TanStack Query for reliable, cache-friendly data flow across the journey from discovery to payment.
The Challenge
Shipping a cohesive travel experience meant balancing rich listing and checkout flows with fast perceived performance, predictable server state on the client, and a maintainable component library the team could extend without regressions.
The Solution
We standardized on Tailwind-backed primitives in Storybook, used TanStack Query for server/cache boundaries, and kept animation and ephemeral UI concerns in Framer Motion and Zustand. The NestJS services on AWS back Stripe and core APIs so the React app stays thin, typed, and easy to iterate on.
